this is a song that gets my heart going. it makes me want to run for hours or just hug someone really tight. it was what i wanted my last song in DC to be (ended up being "country roads" which seemed entirely appropriate). and i love listening to it when driving late at night.

I love this song! "I don't know which way I'm going. I don't know which way I've come." So good.
At their concert a few years ago, I found out that one of Coldplay's favorite musicians is Johnny Cash. They originally wrote this song hoping that they could perform it with Cash, but he passed away before they could, so it became a tribute.
(And, turns out Chris Martin does a pretty great Johnny Cash impersonation.)
this was my go to song last fall - so comforting, so warm and filling. it is so perfect for a late night drive.
