hidden friends
i feel like i am friends with these pieces by a student named jung su-won (from another grand exhibition at seoul station). maybe this is because they make me think of a korean ash mae, maybe it's because you feel, sometimes, that you and an artist are kindred spirits even if you might never have the chance to meet in person.

oh. em. gee. my heart just leaped and lurched about. these are simply gorgeous--i am so impressed at the level of pathos these watercolors have.
and kindred spirits, yes. we should have a kindred spirits week where we post things from our artistic ks's.
what a gloriously perfect idea. what about the first week of september?
